Kerry

Kerry is the owner and creator of The Basement Snug. Her main goal is to create a space that’s inclusive, welcoming, and relaxing, so everyone leaves the Snug feeling better than when they arrived. Kerry is also a highly experienced teacher and specialises in pre and post-pregnancy yoga, restorative yoga, and retreat days.

Amanda

Amanda is an experienced yoga practitioner of 18 years. Having initially suffered with a bad back, she offers classes that are accessible to all, regardless of age or experience. When not teaching yoga or other therapies,, Amanda keeps busy as a mother to six children and a menagerie of rescue animals!

Béa

Béa specialises in sharing yoga with children and young people, and is a Special Yoga Practitioner for Autism and ADHD. She has a love of science and nature and incorporates these elements in her playful and curious approach to yoga. The focus during classes with Béa is on what we feel or experience through movement, rather than how a shape might look- with the view to build sustainable habits through yoga, and support overall wellbeing.

Helen

A teacher and practitioner of yoga for 30 years (we agree, she doesn't look old enough!), Helen guides the menopause classes and workshops at the studio, providing a friendly, relaxed class and making everyone feel welcome to share the space.

 

Ria

Ria is a super bubbly, non-judgemental teacher who is passionate about creating a safe space for families to feel empowered and supported as they begin their parenthood journey. Her classes offer opportunities for parents to grow emotionally, socially and creatively, alongside their baby.

Geet Fateh

Geet Fateh is an Energy Healer and Sound Alchemist. She herself has been on a deep personal transformational healing quest, overcoming anxiety, depression and suicidal thoughts. Rachel transitioned her career out of the corporate world, into the Holistic Health and Healing Arts World, and is now wholly devoted to her life’s purpose; to be in service to Humanity and Mother Earth.

With over five years of experience in empowering and helping people to bring about positive change and create the lives they love. And more recently in the past few years, her healing gifts have escalated with the use of the Angelic Alchemy Crystal Singing Bowls and the Ancient Sacred Gongs. you’ll find endless care, attention, love, and devotion into her sessions, events and offerings.

Lisa

Lisa is a light-hearted teacher, offering accessible yoga flow classes. There’s no strict alignment rules, or expectation of everyone to make the same shape- these flow classes acknowledge individuality and encourage connecting to your own body and what feels good. Lisa is hot on anatomy, and also teaches Pilates- as well as offering sports massage therapy in the local area.

Hannah

When you walk into Hannah's yoga class, everything else can drop away. Her warm and welcoming energy and light-hearted approach makes yoga feel effortlessly accessible and allows you to draw closer to your own body, mind and inner wisdom.

Hannah is an adult and children's yoga instructor with additional qualification in pregnancy and postnatal yoga.

Her classes are gentle with a subtle flow element to allow exploration and freedom of movement. Students participate in strength, flexibility, balance and coordination exercises along with pranayama techniques and relaxation. Moving with the energy of the group ‘on the day’, she aspires for students to leave her sessions with the recharge they were seeking.

 

Jen Gilder

Jen has been practicing yoga for many years and is delighted to now be sharing her passion with others.  She loves supporting and encouraging her students to enjoy exploring movement in a way that works for them and their body, while weaving in themes for reflection, time for meditation and breathwork.

Lauren Turner

Lauren is an experienced yoga practitioner and teacher of vinyasa flow classes, focussing on creative transitions and breath control. Firmly believing in making classes accessible for everyone and creating a space for students to spend time with themselves and fully immerse themselves in their practice. Lauren enjoys a mixture of postures, balance and both flexibility and strength elements into her classes, starting with pranayama and ending with meditation.
